Step One: Please read the guardian promise.

Step Two: If, after reading the promise, you feel you’re ready to be a true “guardian,” then please fill out our online questionnaire. This is a time-saving way for us to ascertain that your particular situation will make a great home for one of our cats.

Step Three: After you’ve submitted your questionnaire, we will contact you to make an appointment for you to meet your prospective new family member and personally address any concerns you or we may have. In the meantime, please download this adoption agreement which will need to be assigned before adoption.

If you are from a foreign country, our adoption agreement will request that you agree to take your adopted cat or cats with you when you leave.

Bringing a pet abroad can be done very safely these days. But, if you’ve never traveled internationally with a companion animal before, the process can seem confusing and tedious the first time. Also, depending on which airline you use, prices and procedures can vary greatly. Beijing Cat can help guide you in this process, but we recommend you also check to see if your home country allows the transport of pets from overseas and whether its quarantine and other regulations are acceptable to you.
